    If you would like to participate in the Monday poster session, you must submit an Abstract for approval by Monday, August 2nd. Send your abstract prepared as outlined in the Poster and Abstract Guidelines to: mjhavey@wisc.edu

    Upon Abstract approval, for poster preparation, please again review the Poster & Abstract Guidelines. Please bring your posters with you; we will not have the capability to print any posters at the meeting.
       
    National Association of Plant Breeders (NAPB) 2010 Awards Program:

    This year the NAPB is sponsoring two awards that will be presented at the Annual Meeting. Here is more information about the Lifetime Achievement and Early Career Scientist Awards.
       
    Travel and Logistics for the 2010 Workshop:
    • Registration
      • Your registration fee includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and transportation each day.
      • All meeting-related information will be provided at registration.
    • Arrival
      • Arrive at the Des Moines International Airport (DSM).
      • Transportation will be provided between the airport and the three preferred hotels listed below. Beginning Sunday, 9:00 AM, a charter bus will loop between the hotels and the airport on an hourly basis. Saturday arrivals need to request the hotel shuttle service.
    • General
      • There is no dress code requirement for the sessions. However, keep in mind that it can be difficult to maintain good temperature control in large meeting rooms. We suggest you dress in layers or bring a sweater for your comfort.
      • You will be provided with copies of all PBCC workshop-related documents; they are also available on the PBCC Website. White papers are drafts and have undergone various levels of review, so your input is important. Newer versions may be available on the Website.
      • Motor coaches will be used to transport attendees between hotels and Pioneer, tours, and to off-site dinner.
